Anaija Head
Anaija is a model, content creator, and landscape architect whose work bridges creativity, design, and community impact. Alongside her career in architecture, she is deeply committed to giving back, hosting fundraisers, organizing community events, and helping design and bring to life neighborhood gardens.
Professionally modeling for the past four years, Anaija has worked with major brands including Off-White, Nike, Puma, and Apple. Beyond print and commercial work, she also serves as a model coach and content creator, sharing her expertise and creative vision with others. Her career has taken her to prestigious runways such as New York Fashion Week, where she has walked for designers including Archana Kochar, Daniels Leather, and KidSuper, all while staying true to her deen.

Asha Kabirou
Asha Kabirou is the Founder and Research Director of Halaqah Tingz and the proud owner of Bold By Rai Coffee. She created Halaqah Tingz to make intricate Islamic concepts accessible and relatable, with a strong focus on building a grounded, supportive community for women in the DMV (Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia) area.
She is the author of two books that bridge the worlds of science and
spirituality. Her debut work, The Invisible Hand: Exploring the Visible and Invisible Design in Nature, examines the profound connections between scientific understanding and spiritual insight within the natural world. Her second book, The Fasting Roast: Healing One Sip at a Time, continues this mission by blending scientific knowledge with spiritual wisdom. This beautifully
designed coffee-table book explores the restorative benefits of fasting and caffeine while sharing her personal journey of transformation through intentional coffee rituals and intermittent fasting. Asha holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a concentration in animal function, and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, focusing on biodefense and biosecurity. With over six years of experience at the National Institutes of Health, she has contributed to critical research efforts related to COVID-19, infectious diseases, antibiotic resistance, and other public health challenges. Her work reflects a deep commitment to understanding biological systems and their impact on human health. In addition to her research, Asha is a passionate public speaker who thoughtfully connects scientific concepts with spirituality. Her ability to bridge
these fields allows her to inspire diverse audiences and illuminate the harmony between faith, science, and the natural world. Through her work with Halaqah Tingz, she continues to encourage a deeper, more accessible understanding of Islam and its relationship to science and spirituality

Imani Bashir
Imani Bashir is a world-traveling storyteller, activist, and mother whose work is deeply rooted in social justice and the liberation of marginalized communities. Having lived across five countries, she has cultivated a global perspective that celebrates cross-cultural connectivity. Whether through journalism, advocacy, or content creation, Imani amplifies narratives that challenge systemic oppression and uplift those too often left at the margins. Her work spans media, travel, and communications, always guided by a commitment to equity, authenticity, and collective care. As a Black Muslim woman and mother, she is fiercely invested in creating a world where her son—and all children—can thrive in safety, dignity, and truth. Imani believes in the transformative power of storytelling to bridge divides and build movements, and she continues to use her voice to imagine and work toward a freer, more compassionate world.

Kimberly Syuardi
Kimberly Syuardi is a DMV-based content creator and photographer whose work centers on modest fashion, lifestyle, and travel. Previously, Kimberly served as the Outreach Coordinator for CAIR’s Maryland office, where she played a key role in building bridges between Muslim communities and local institutions. In that role, she led community engagement efforts, civil rights workshops, and collaborated with grassroots organizations, students, and faith-based groups to combat
Islamophobia and advocate for civil rights.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she developed a strong foundation in storytelling, community engagement, and advocacy.

Yasmin Jalloh
Yasmin Jalloh is a modest fashion content creator, mental health advocate, and graduate student currently pursuing her Master’s in Social Work at Howard University. Through her online presence, Yasmin inspires women to embrace confidence, faith, and authenticity, sharing the beauty and challenges of the hijab journey with honesty and heart. Her work centers representation, self-compassion, and storytelling, helping women feel seen and supported wherever they are in their journey. Guided by her passion for social justice and community care, Yasmin is working to become a mental health professional, uplifting the Muslim and Black communities while continuing to advocate for accessible, culturally-aware care. She believes deeply in the power of women’s voices, faith-rooted resilience, and living with intention. Whether she’s styling a look, reflecting on identity, or encouraging emotional wellness, Yasmin’s mission remains the same: to empower others to show up fully as themselves with grace, purpose, and conviction.

Hakeemah Cummings
Hakeemah Cummings is a modest fashion stylist, inventor, entrepreneur, and social media influencer best known for her work in the hijab fashion space, especially centered on Muslim women’s identity and empowerment. She is the founder of CMB Styling, brand often praised as “genius” which is filling the gaps in today’s modest fashion space with innovative products
Hakeemah has built an online community that celebrates diversity, the unique experiences of Muslim women, and the beauty of an Islamic lifestyle.
Beyond fashion, Hakeemah uses her platform to engage in broader conversations about representation, inclusivity, and community service.
A woman of many talents, but her greatest honor is being the mother of her three young daughters.

Hafsah Nur
Hafsah Nur is a Howard Alumna with a degree in International Affairs and minors in Arabic and Spanish. She had the honor of serving as the former Religious Chair for HUMSA in which she invited guest speakers for lectures and continued different Islamic education initiatives for Muslim students to be reminded of Allah and of their deen. She is passionate about encouraging sisters to strengthen their relationship with Allah, pursue knowledge of Islam, and hopes to inspire sisters to grow in their journey towards modesty and becoming the best version of themselves

Fadimata Toure
Fadimata Toure is a hijabi content creator known for her honest, engaging approach to beauty, faith, and everyday life. As a black Muslim woman and ICU nurse, she shares her journey balancing career, confidence, and spirituality while embracing modest fashion ,and self-expression. Her content centers authenticity, empowerment, and reminding Muslim women that they don’t have to shrink themselves to belong.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) from Towson University. She uses her platform to help inspire other Muslim women to follow their dreams while maintaining their faith.
